NETZSCH and DST Seal Strategic Partnership at interpack 2026

NETZSCH Grinding & Dispersing and Dutch Structuring Technologies (DST) have entered into a strategic partnership to accelerate innovation in the field of structured proteins and next-generation food products.
The partnership marks an important step toward supporting food manufacturers in the growing alternative protein market. By joining forces, NETZSCH and DST aim to create integrated customer solutions covering key stages of the process chain — from raw material preparation to targeted texture formation.
DST develops and supplies the patented Sheartex technology, enabling the production of advanced fibrous protein textures at industrial scale. NETZSCH contributes extensive know-how in grinding, dispersion and fine processing technologies. Together, both companies are creating a strong foundation for future-oriented food applications and scalable production concepts.
The cooperation was confirmed during interpack 2026 by Matthias Kapp, Vice President Business Field Food & Pharma at NETZSCH, and Julian Lekner, Co-Founder of DST and Creator of Sheartex Technology. The announcement marks the beginning of a close collaboration focused on process innovation, structured proteins and future food solutions.
